Once a bleak and desolate working-class neighborhood, Zona Tortona has long become Milano’s place to be for artists and designers with avant-garde claim. Not dissimilar to the artist revolution that transformed a once depressing district, our Milano collection breathes new life into old and new interiors.

Zona Tortona is based on our basic structure mosaic. Traditionally, a mosaic is a pattern or image made of small regular or irregular pieces of material. Mosaics have a long history, starting in Mesopotamia in the 3rd millennium BC. And still today, mosaics are a potent means of expression artists and craftspeople around the world. Zona Tortona’s mosaic structure forms abstract patterns and works best in strong colors combined with traditional materials and design elements.
